Yorkshire Software was created by two founding directors, Christopher Hitchen and Justin Pickles whose passion and innovative vision into the IT solutions market has led to a thriving software house.

After spending over 30 years combined in the software industry working for market leaders in the medical and financial markets they decided to invest their that their time would be better spent making a difference by setting up their own software house,

Christopher Hitchen

Christopher has worked for over 18 years as a software developer/ database administrator. In this time he has worked for a range of companies specializing in a number of industries including investment banking, Insurance, commodity trading and more recently the property investment / management industry.

Justin Pickles

Justin has worked for over 17 years as a software developer/designer & tester. In this time he has worked for various companies specializing in a number of industries including warehouse management, time keeping and more recently medical services software.

His duties have ranged from front end support, application & database design to project management of large scale applications, with his software being installed on single machines, right through to 100,000+ installs.
